Things To Do

Don’t know what there is to do in the area? Here’s some helpful guides to the area from food to activites and more!

From the moment my husband and I entered the inn, we felt welcomed. Bill and his staff were beyond accommodating! They did everything to ensure that we were satisfied with our stay. They were very knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations for dining and attractions to visit. The room we stayed in was perfect. The views from the balconies were spectacular.”

I surprised my husband with a weekend at Gruene River Inn for our anniversary. It was our second visit because we really love this place. The location is great–on the river and close enough to walk to all the restaurants, shops and Gruene Hall. And the people who run the place are so nice. They have a great complimentary breakfast each morning, with free snacks available throughout the day. The rooms are very quaint and nicely appointed, with a Jacuzzi tub. Although the rooms are somewhat small, the view from our private balcony went forever!”
